The Short Answer: After the draft, your first 5 picks automatically become your Starting 5. Watch your teams play, learn the app, track your points, and prepare to set your lineup for Month 2.

You Just Finished the Draft. Now What?

Congratulations: you have a roster. Ten teams from across Europe's Big 5 leagues are now yours to manage for the season.

But the draft was just the beginning. Here's what happens next and what you should focus on in your first month.

Your Initial Starting 5

Your first 5 draft picks are automatically set as your Starting 5 for the first month.

Draft Pick Role
Pick 1 Starter
Pick 2 Starter
Pick 3 Starter
Pick 4 Starter
Pick 5 Starter
Pick 6 Bench
Pick 7 Bench
Pick 8 Bench
Pick 9 Bench
Pick 10 Bench

This means your highest-drafted teams — presumably your best teams — are earning you points right away.

Why It Works This Way

A few reasons:

  1. Your top picks should be your best teams. In most drafts, Picks 1-5 are stronger than Picks 6-10. Starting them makes sense.
  2. It reduces new player burden. You just finished a draft. You're learning the app. Forcing an immediate lineup decision adds stress without adding fun.
  3. It gets you playing immediately. No waiting period, no setup screen — your Starting 5 is ready to go.

We Want Your Feedback

This is an active decision we're still evaluating. Should new managers get a window to set their own Starting 5 before the first month locks? Should the auto-assignment work differently?
